I have a 12.9 Pro. Without the cover, the tablet itself is light. With the cover on, it is exactly 1 kilo. It’s the same size as a regular magazine. I have zero problems with its portability, and I have the iPad with me all the time, but portability is subjective for the most part. Have an iPad Pro 2, just upgraded to iPad Pro M2 - essentially, amazing; and I haven’t begun to scratch the surface of what it can do. But, the iPad Pro 2 is gonna hit EOL soon(er) than not. If you can, save a bit more and buy an iPad Pro M1 as a referb on the Apple site - and no where else. You won’t regret. The iPhone is still very much a phone, whereas the iPad Mini is very much a tablet. The Mini is such a nice size to use for handheld media consumption and it does a fantastic job of being a couch device and a portable carry-everywhere type of device. Yeah, so I am just days away from either buying an iPad Pro 11” or an iPad Pro 12.9”. I haven’t decided on either yet. I had the 12.9” before and was happy with the speakers, but my bad habits caused me to sell it. I then recently picked up an Air 4, but the speakers just were ruining the experience for me. If you go for a 12.9” get last years model for cheaper since you won’t need a faster chip for your pusposes. The M1 model still has a mini led display. 6. Aravindh93. Some pros of Samsung Tab: Much better screen: like AMOLED is much much better display than on iPad. SPen is a bit better: it is more similar to real life pen than Apple Pencil, and it comes with the tablet. But they’re not even at the same price range. The Tab S8 Ultra would be much more affordable since Samsung has discounts very often. As an example I bought a used 12.9 M1 iPad Pro 256 cellular with the Magic Keyboard for $600 easier this month. 2. [deleted] • 10 mo. ago. 12.9” and 10.9” are absolutely different beyond the aspect ratio. M2 MacBook Air retails for double $680, no way are you gonna get one for that much even on sale. 1. You'll probably forget about the 3d scanning in 3 days. You'll forget about the cameras in a week. I've never used it outside but the 120hz display is worth it. The m1 is already an overkill on a 120hz display. Ipad air 5 will never use the m1's true potential. It's a waste of money too because the 64gb price is close to ipad pro 2020 128 gb. 7LxRH2n.
